Title: Architect

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead and manage the design and construction process of building projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to create designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements. The Architect will be responsible for managing project timelines and budgets, overseeing construction progress, and ensuring adherence to building codes and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

●     Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and schedules

●     Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to create project designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary requirements

●     Prepare and present project proposals, designs, and reports to clients and stakeholders

●     Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards

●     Oversee construction progress to ensure that project specifications, timelines, and budgets are met

●     Monitor and manage project expenses and resource allocation

●     Coordinate and lead project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project team members

●     Review and approve construction documents, including plans, specifications, and shop drawings

●     Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns

 

Qualifications:

 

●     Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field

●     Professional licensure as an Architect

●     Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and construction management

●     Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

●     Ability to lead and manage project teams effectively

●     Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software

●     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

●     Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

 

Physical Demands:

The Architect may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers to manipulate computer keyboards and other tools, and occasionally lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds. The position may require occasional travel to construction sites or client meetings.
