Job Title: Assistant Physician


Job Summary:

An Assistant Physician is a licensed medical professional who works under the supervision of a physician to provide medical care to patients. You will assist in diagnosing and treating patients, performing procedures, and developing treatment plans.



- Assist the supervising physician in diagnosing and treating patients, including performing physical examinations and ordering diagnostic tests.

- Develop treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician.

- Assist with medical procedures, such as biopsies, suturing, and wound care.

- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

- Communicate with patients and their families regarding medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.

- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including nurses, therapists, and social workers.

- Stay current with medical advances and attend continuing education courses as needed.

- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.



- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.

- Valid medical license in the state of practice.

- Completion of a residency program in a relevant medical field.

- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a clinical setting.

- Knowledge of medical procedures and protocols.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

- Willingness to learn and stay current with medical advances.

- Adherence to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
