Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a licensed Athletic Trainer to join our healthcare team. The Athletic Trainer will work with a variety of patients, from professional athletes to individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing exercise programs, conducting fitness assessments, providing injury prevention and treatment, and educating patients on safe exercise practices.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement exercise programs based on individual patient needs and goals.

• Conduct fitness assessments and evaluations to determine patients' physical abilities and limitations.

• Provide injury prevention and treatment services to patients.

• Educate patients on safe exercise practices and proper techniques.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and physical therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate regularly with other members of the healthcare team.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during exercise and treatment sessions.

• Stay current on industry developments and trends related to athletic training.

• Participate in continuing education programs and professional development opportunities.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.

• Current state license as an Athletic Trainer.

• Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).

• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology, and biomechanics.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to perform physical activities, such as running, jumping, and stretching.

• Must have the ability to use hands and arms to perform tasks, including manual dexterity for manipulating objects.
