Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Barback to support our bartenders in delivering an exceptional experience to our customers. The Barback will be responsible for ensuring the bar is stocked with supplies and clean during service hours, assisting bartenders in the preparation of drinks and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and all equipment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure bar is clean, stocked, and set up for service before opening and throughout service

• Assist bartenders in preparing drinks, including measuring, mixing and pouring ingredients

• Collect and restock all supplies and utensils during service

• Empty trash and keep the bar area clean and free of debris

• Maintain inventory of bar supplies and notify management when running low

• Check and replace glassware and utensils as needed

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

 

Qualifications:

 

• Previous experience as a barback preferred

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Knowledge of bar equipment and procedures

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time

 

Salary:

 

The salary for this position will be based on experience.

 

Physical Demands:

 

The Barback will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects on a regular basis. They may be required to work in noisy and dimly lit environments.
