Job Purpose:
As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders from customers, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service while ensuring that customers’ needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers as they arrive and provide menus
• Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations when needed
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Maintain inventory of bar supplies and notify management when stock is running low
• Ensure that the bar is clean and well-organized at all times
• Handle cash and card transactions and keep an accurate record of sales
• Adhere to all local and state laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
• Build and maintain relationships with regular customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Knowledge of local and state laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
