Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team. The Behavioral Technician will work with clients who have various behavioral health concerns and conditions, including autism, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients and their families to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans.
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress.
- Provide support and assistance to clients during treatment sessions.
- Implement behavior modification techniques and strategies.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including clinicians, psychiatrists, and case managers.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience working in behavioral health or related field.
- Knowledge of behavior modification techniques and strategies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
