Job Description:

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced behavior analyst to join our team. The behavior analyst will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing behavior plans to address maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behaviors. The behavior analyst will work with individuals of all ages with a wide range of developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavior disorders.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct functional assessments to identify the function of maladaptive behaviors

- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on the results of the functional assessment

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the behavior intervention plans

- Collect and analyze data to assess progress and modify behavior intervention plans as needed

- Provide training to staff, caregivers, and family members on behavior intervention plans and strategies

- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychologists, social workers, and educators, to develop comprehensive treatment plans

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, behavior plans, and progress notes

- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to review progress and make treatment recommendations

 

Requirements:

 

- Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field

- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification

- Experience conducting functional assessments and developing behavior intervention plans

- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavior disorders

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of current research and best practices in behavior analysis
