Position: BI (Business Intelligence) Developer

 

Job Description:

 

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to design and develop BI solutions that meet the reporting and analysis needs of our organization. The BI Developer will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements, design and implement data models, and develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. The successful candidate will have experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView, as well as strong SQL and database development skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis requirements

• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analysis needs

• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView

• Write complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various data sources

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by monitoring and troubleshooting data quality issues

• Participate in the development of project plans and timelines

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders

 

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Talend, or Informatica

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

 

Working Conditions:

 

• The position may require working extended hours when necessary, to meet project deadlines or resolve critical issues.

• The job may require occasional travel, depending on project needs.
