Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant

 

Job Description:

 

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to help our clients optimize their data-driven decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing data models, and creating custom reports and dashboards to meet client needs. Additionally, the BI Consultant will provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders to ensure the successful adoption of new BI solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis requirements

• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analysis needs

• Develop custom reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView

• Provide technical training and support to end-users and other stakeholders

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by monitoring and troubleshooting data quality issues

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analysis

• Participate in the development of project plans and timelines

• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders

 

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant or similar role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Microsoft SSIS, Talend, or Informatica

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

 

Working Conditions:

 

• The position may require working extended hours when necessary, to meet project deadlines or resolve critical issues.

• The job may require occasional travel, depending on project needs.
