Job Overview:

The Billing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the billing operations of the organization. This position will manage the billing team and ensure that all invoices are accurate and sent out on time. The Billing Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes to improve the efficiency of the billing process.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the billing team and ensure that all invoices are accurate and sent out on time

• Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the billing process

• Monitor the billing process to ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner

• Manage the collection of past-due accounts and work with customers to resolve any billing issues

• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that billing information is accurate

• Analyze billing data and prepare reports for senior management

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to billing and collections

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to improve communication and ensure timely payment

• Train new employees on the billing process and ensure that all team members are up to date on best practices and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing or collections, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Experience with billing software and financial reporting tools

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
