Job Summary:
The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing all catering operations of the company, including sales, event planning, budgeting, and execution. The Catering Manager will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and their events run smoothly. Additionally, the Catering Manager will lead a team of catering staff, including servers, chefs, and event coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets
• Plan, organize, and coordinate events with clients and internal teams
• Develop catering menus and work with chefs to ensure quality food service
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction with services
• Manage catering staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Manage catering budget and expenses
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of events and orders
• Prepare reports on catering performance and revenue
• Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of catering services
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
• Proven experience in catering management, including sales and event planning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team of catering staff
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
• Knowledge of catering industry trends and best practices
• Understanding of food service regulations and safety standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and catering software programs
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
