Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all medical operations of the organization, including patient care, medical staff management, and clinical programs
• Ensure the highest quality of patient care through the development and implementation of clinical protocols and standards
• Manage and develop medical staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their roles effectively
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Work closely with senior leadership to provide strategic guidance and support
• Identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement plans to address them
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Develop and manage budgets and financial reports for medical operations
• Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and other materials to the board of directors and other stakeholders
• Stay up to date with the latest medical and technological advancements, and recommend their integration into organizational practices
Requirements:
• Medical degree from an accredited institution; MBA or MPH degree preferred
• Proven experience as a Chief Medical Officer or in a similar senior leadership role
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of medical operations, processes, and strategy
• Familiarity with medical software applications and tools, such as EHR, CPOE, and clinical decision support systems
• Understanding of healthcare regulatory environment and quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
