Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide leadership, strategic planning, and clinical oversight to our healthcare organization. The CMO will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures, managing the medical staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care, implementing innovative clinical programs, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
• Oversee medical staff recruitment, credentialing, and performance evaluations
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to all clinical staff and departments
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement organizational strategy and goals
• Manage physician relations and contract negotiations
• Develop and implement clinical quality improvement programs
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, laws, and accrediting agencies
• Develop and manage the clinical budget
• Lead efforts to implement clinical technology and innovation
• Represent the organization in the community and with other healthcare providers
Requirements:
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license in the state of practice
• Board certification in a medical specialty
• Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare organization
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful clinical programs and initiatives
• Experience managing physician relations and contracts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of clinical professionals
