Title: Child Care Provider

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a nurturing and responsible childcare provider to provide quality care for children under our care. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for children, be patient, and possess excellent communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

●     Develop and follow a daily schedule of activities that includes educational, recreational, and creative activities.

●     Maintain a clean and organized environment, including toys, equipment, and supplies.

●     Provide nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions and preferences.

●     Administer medication and follow any medical plans as necessary.

●     Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development, behaviour, and any concerns.

●     Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, activities, and progress.

●     Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in child care.

 

Requirements:

 

●     At least 18 years of age.

●     High school diploma or equivalent.

●     CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

●     Minimum of 1-year experience caring for children.

●     Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●     Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and engage in physical activities with children.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

●     Early childhood education or related degree.

●     Experience working with children with special needs.
