Title: Communications Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Communications Assistant to provide support to our communications team. The Communications Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of communication strategies, creating content for a variety of communication channels, and managing social media accounts. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be comfortable working with a variety of communication tools, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies
- Create content for a variety of communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, and website content
- Manage social media accounts and monitor engagement
- Conduct research and analysis to support communication initiatives
- Assist with organizing events and other communication activities
- Respond to inquiries from the public and media
- Maintain accurate records of communication activities and results
- Participate in training and development activities to improve skills and knowledge
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a communications-related role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other communication tools
- Familiarity with web content management systems
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
