Title: Compensation and Benefits Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our HR team. The Compensation and Benefits Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees. This individual will work closely with HR and business leaders to analyze and evaluate compensation and benefits programs and make recommendations for improvements that align with the organization's goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of the organization's compensation and benefits programs.

- Analyze internal pay equity and develop recommendations for adjustments as needed.

- Develop and maintain job descriptions and salary structures.

- Participate in the design and implementation of incentive and bonus programs to drive employee engagement and performance.

- Manage the annual merit review and bonus process.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, such as compensation survey providers and benefits brokers.

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

- Develop and maintain benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

- Manage the administration of benefit programs, including enrollments, terminations, and changes.

- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation and benefits records and metrics.

- Provide guidance to HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits-related matters.

- Stay up-to-date with compensation and benefits trends and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements.

- Other HR-related tasks as assigned.



- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and other stakeholders.

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

- Familiarity with compensation and benefits software and other HR technology.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation.

- Experience working in a large, complex organization.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
