Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Specialist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation and benefits programs and be able to provide expertise and guidance to the organization. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for administering and managing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working closely with HR colleagues and business leaders to develop and implement effective compensation and benefits strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentive pay, equity programs, and benefits plans

- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure compensation and benefits programs remain competitive and aligned with business objectives

- Develop and implement compensation and benefits policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws

- Work closely with HR colleagues and business leaders to design and implement effective compensation and benefits strategies

- Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of compensation and benefits costs

- Manage and coordinate the annual merit review process, ensuring equity and consistency in performance evaluations and salary increases

- Support the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives related to compensation and benefits

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits

- Provide guidance and support to HR colleagues, managers, and employees on compensation and benefits matters

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits administration, with a focus on program design and administration

- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits programs, practices, and regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and market research to inform compensation and benefits decisions

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
