Title: Compensation Consultant

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compensation Consultant to join our HR team. The Compensation Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees. This individual will work closely with HR and business leaders to analyze and evaluate compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement compensation strategies and programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of the organization's compensation programs.

- Analyze internal pay equity and develop recommendations for adjustments as needed.

- Participate in the design and implementation of incentive and bonus programs to drive employee engagement and performance.

- Develop and maintain job descriptions and salary structures.

- Provide guidance to HR and business leaders on compensation-related matters.

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation.

- Manage the annual merit review and bonus process.

- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, such as compensation survey providers.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation records and metrics.

- Stay up-to-date with compensation trends and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements.

- Other HR-related tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in compensation consulting, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful compensation programs.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and other stakeholders.

- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

- Familiarity with compensation software and other HR technology.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.

- Experience working in a large, complex organization.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to compensation.
