Job Summary:

 

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Computer Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our computer systems, networks, and data. This will involve developing and implementing security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats. The Computer Security Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring our systems for security breaches and responding quickly to any incidents that occur.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect computer systems, networks, and data

• Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats

• Install and maintain security software, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems

• Monitor computer systems and networks for security breaches and respond quickly to any incidents that occur

• Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports to management

• Conduct regular security training sessions for staff to increase awareness of potential security threats and best practices for avoiding them

• Work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of our computer systems and networks

• Keep up to date with the latest developments in computer security and recommend new security technologies and strategies as needed

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
