Job Title: Cybersecurity Analyst

 

Introduction:

 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of information security and risk management, as well as experience with various cybersecurity technologies and tools. The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems and networks, as well as identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate them. This is a highly technical role that requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to our information systems and networks.

- Develop and implement security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect our organization's sensitive data.

- Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to potential security incidents in a timely manner.

- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats, and provide guidance and training to other team members as needed.

- Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to develop and maintain an effective cybersecurity program.

 

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related field.

- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and encryption technologies.

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and network traffic analysis.

- Strong understanding of security protocols, standards, and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT and security professionals.

- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
