Job Title: Design Engineer

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our team. The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, developing, and designing products, systems, and structures that meet customer needs and specifications. This includes conducting research and analysis, designing and testing prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to market.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and design products, systems, and structures that meet customer needs and specifications

●     Conduct research and analysis to identify design requirements, constraints, and opportunities

●     Create and develop design concepts and prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools and technologies

●     Test and evaluate prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and performance requirements

●     Analyze and optimize designs for cost, performance, manufacturability, and other factors

●     Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs can be efficiently and effectively manufactured and assembled

●     Communicate design ideas, concepts, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders

●     Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in design engineering, and recommend new tools and techniques as needed

●     Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and other collaborative activities to ensure the successful development and implementation of designs

 

Requirements:

 

●     Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, or related field (required), Master's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)

●     Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on product development and design

●     Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor

●     Experience with prototyping and testing methods and tools, such as rapid prototyping, 3D printing, and simulation software

●     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions to design engineering challenges

●     Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate design ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders

●     Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and to adapt quickly to changing situations
