Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure of our software development and deployment process. The ideal candidate should have experience with cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, automation, monitoring, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build and manage cloud infrastructure to support the software development process.
• Manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to facilitate the software development and deployment process.
• Monitor the performance and security of the infrastructure and take proactive measures to ensure uptime and security.
• Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the development and deployment process.
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure security best practices are implemented in the infrastructure.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in the infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
