Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living tasks. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, including but not limited to, bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and medication administration. Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and medication administration
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on each client's unique needs
• Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
• Provide emotional support to clients and their families
• Document and maintain accurate records of client care and progress
• Participate in training and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Previous experience in a direct care role preferred
