Job Title: Director of Talent

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Talent to lead our talent acquisition and development efforts. The Director of Talent will be responsible for developing and implementing talent strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and ensure the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in talent management, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement talent acquisition and development strategies that align with the organization's business objectives

- Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop customized talent solutions

- Lead and manage a team of recruiters and talent development professionals, providing guidance and coaching as needed

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment, including EEO and affirmative action requirements

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, universities, and industry associations

- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future staffing needs

- Develop and implement talent development programs and initiatives, including training, coaching, and mentoring programs

- Develop and maintain metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition and development efforts

- Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives as assigned

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

- 10+ years of experience in talent management, with a focus on talent acquisition and development

- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing talent acquisition and development strategies

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external partners

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions

- Knowledge of talent management best practices, policies, and procedures

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools is preferred
