Job Title: Dispatcher

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching service calls to technicians and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of service calls and ensuring clear communication between customers and technicians.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Receive and process service requests from customers via phone, email, or other channels

●     Schedule and dispatch service calls to technicians based on availability, location, and expertise

●     Provide customers with accurate and timely updates on the status of service calls

●     Ensure technicians have the necessary information and resources to complete service calls efficiently

●     Maintain accurate records of service calls, including the nature of the problem, the actions taken, and the resolution

●     Coordinate with other departments, including sales and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers

●     Ensure clear and effective communication between customers and technicians

●     Monitor service calls and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services

●     Manage inventory of equipment and supplies needed for service calls

●     Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner

 

Qualifications:

 

●     High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred

●     Proven experience as a Dispatcher or similar role

●     Strong organizational and time management skills

●     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

●     Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

●     Knowledge of scheduling and dispatch software preferred

●     Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

●     Familiarity with the service industry, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, preferred

●     Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
