Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic elementary school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that promotes students' academic, social, and emotional growth. The elementary school teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that foster students' critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

     Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate students' learning styles and abilities.

     Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.

     Assess student learning through formal and informal methods and use the results to guide instruction and differentiate learning.

     Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student's academic and social development.

     Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress, behaviour, and needs.

     Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on educational trends and research.

     Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

Requirements:

 

     Bachelor's degree in elementary education or related field.

     Valid teaching certification or license.

     Minimum of two years of experience teaching in an elementary school setting.

     Strong knowledge of state standards and curriculum frameworks.

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt to students' needs.

     Knowledge of educational technologies and their integration into teaching.

     Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, staff, and parents.

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

     Master's degree in education or related field.

     Experience teaching in a diverse or multicultural setting.

     Experience working with students with special needs.
