Job Title: Event Planner




The Event Planner is responsible for the successful planning and execution of events such as weddings, corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions. The individual will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the event, including catering, venue selection, entertainment, decorations, transportation, and accommodations. The Event Planner will be required to work closely with the clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop event proposals and presentations based on client needs and requirements.

- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the event are executed smoothly and efficiently.

- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure that the client receives the best value for their money.

- Work closely with the client to develop a detailed event plan, including timelines, budgets, and task lists.

- Provide regular progress reports to the client to keep them informed of the event's progress.

- Ensure that all aspects of the event are executed according to plan and that any issues are addressed promptly.

- Attend the event and ensure that all vendors, suppliers, and contractors are performing their duties as required.

- Manage the event budget and ensure that all expenses are recorded and tracked accurately.

- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that the company has access to the best resources for future events.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure that the company remains competitive in the event planning industry.




- Proven experience as an Event Planner or similar role.

- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of event planning software and tools.

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems before they occur.

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or related field.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
