Title: Executive Pastor

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Pastor to join our church leadership team. The Executive Pastor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the church, providing leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers, and implementing the church's vision and strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers, ensuring alignment with the church's vision and strategy.

     Manage the day-to-day operations of the church, including financial, administrative, and facilities management.

     Develop and implement strategies to grow the church and increase engagement and participation.

     Oversee the development and implementation of ministry programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the church's vision and strategy.

     Lead and participate in the planning and execution of worship services and other church events.

     Build and maintain positive relationships with members of the congregation, staff, and community.

     Provide pastoral care and support to members of the congregation, as needed.

     Collaborate with other church leaders to create and implement policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of the congregation and staff.

     Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance leadership skills and stay current on trends and best practices in church leadership.

     Adhere to church policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

Requirements:

 

     Bachelor's or Master's degree in divinity, theology, or related field.

     Minimum of five years of experience in church leadership, preferably as an Executive Pastor or similar role.

     Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

     Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategies and initiatives that align with the church's vision and goals.

     Knowledge of church administration, finance, and facilities management.

     Ability to provide pastoral care and support to members of the congregation.

     Understanding of and commitment to the Christian faith and values.

     Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and members of the congregation.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

     Master's degree in divinity, theology, or related field.

     Ordained as a pastor or minister.

     Experience working in a large church or multi-site church.

     Experience leading or participating in church planting initiatives.
