Job Title: Fabricator

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality metal products, such as sheet metal and metal components, using a variety of tools and machinery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication requirements.

• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using a variety of tools and machinery, including saws, shears, presses, and welding equipment.

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and accurately to ensure quality and precision.

• Inspect finished products for defects and perform quality control checks.

• Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Maintain clean and organized work areas and machines.

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Vocational or technical training in metal fabrication or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication tools and machinery.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
