Job Title: Field Service Technician

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for our products at customer sites. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair services for our products

     Conduct pre-installation site surveys and prepare reports of findings

     Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and provide timely and effective solutions

     Provide training and support to customers on the use and maintenance of our products

     Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

     Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management regarding service calls, issues, and resolutions

     Document and maintain accurate records of service calls, including the nature of the problem, the actions taken, and the resolution

     Adhere to safety and quality standards and procedures

     Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies needed for service calls

     Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

 

Qualifications:

 

     High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred

     Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role

     Strong technical skills and knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

     Ability to work independently and in a team environment

     Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

     Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

     Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed

     Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
