Job Summary:

 

We are looking for a competent Finance Clerk to perform various financial and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, processing invoices and receipts, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with the preparation of financial reports.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Process and reconcile invoices and receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness

• Record financial transactions in the accounting system

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and receipt of funds

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and keep them organized and accessible

• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding financial transactions

• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

 

Requirements:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred

• Proven work experience as a Finance Clerk or similar role

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
