Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing financial advice to management. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be able to work independently and in a team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management for improvement

• Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory filings

• Manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for day-to-day operations

• Liaise with external auditors and assist with the annual audit process

• Provide financial advice to management to support decision-making

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager

 

Requirements:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices

• Familiarity with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
