Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Scientist to join our team. The Food Scientist will be responsible for developing and testing new food products, improving existing products, and ensuring that our products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in food science and technology, be familiar with food regulations and safety protocols, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Develop new food products and improve existing products to meet market demands.

- Conduct research and experiments to develop new formulations and recipes.

- Ensure that new products are safe, nutritious, and meet quality standards.

- Conduct sensory evaluations and taste tests to ensure that products meet customer preferences.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to ensure that products are developed and produced efficiently and effectively.

- Conduct quality control tests on finished products to ensure that they meet company standards and comply with food regulations.

- Monitor food production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure that products are produced safely and efficiently.

- Develop and implement food safety protocols and procedures to ensure that products meet food safety standards.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in food science and technology.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.

- Proven work experience as a Food Scientist or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of food chemistry, microbiology, and sensory evaluation.

- Familiarity with food regulations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with food processing equipment and techniques.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
