Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grant Writer to join our team and help secure funding for our organization's programs and initiatives. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying potential funding sources, writing and submitting grant proposals, and maintaining relationships with grantors. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of successfully securing grants.

 

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporations

• Write and submit compelling grant proposals that align with the organization's mission and goals

• Collaborate with program directors and other staff members to gather information and data needed for grant proposals

• Develop and maintain relationships with grantors to ensure ongoing funding opportunities

• Monitor grant requirements and deadlines to ensure timely submission of proposals and reports

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant applications and awards

• Participate in meetings with donors and other stakeholders as necessary

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing or fundraising

• Excellent writing skills and ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive grant proposals

• Strong research skills and ability to identify potential funding sources

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and donors

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with grant management software

• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and trends

• Demonstrated success in securing grants
