Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaping of our facility to ensure that they are always well-manicured, attractive, and free of debris.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, and fertilizing the lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds.

- Plant and cultivate flowers, trees, and other plants according to instructions and best practices.

- Monitor and maintain the health of all plants, using pesticides or other treatments as needed.

- Clean and maintain all outdoor facilities and equipment, including outdoor furniture, fences, walkways, and parking lots.

- Keep the facility and its surroundings clean and tidy, ensuring that all garbage and debris are collected and disposed of properly.

- Report any safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

- Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping tools and equipment, including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and blowers.

- Work in all weather conditions to ensure that the grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

- Maintain accurate records of all landscaping and maintenance work performed.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

 

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- At least 2 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of plant species, fertilizers, pesticides, and landscaping tools and equipment.

- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of landscaping tools and equipment.

- Ability to work in all weather conditions.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work at heights.

- Must have a valid driver's license.
