Job Title: Handyman

 

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to maintain and improve our facilities, equipment, and grounds. You must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing drywall, and painting.

• Repair and maintain equipment such as air conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems.

• Perform carpentry tasks such as building shelves, repairing doors, and installing locks.

• Maintain grounds such as mowing lawns, pruning trees, and clearing debris.

• Respond promptly to requests from managers and tenants.

• Complete assigned work orders in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a handyman or maintenance worker.

• Strong knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks to a high standard.

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in a trade such as plumbing or electrical work.

• Experience working in a commercial or industrial setting.

• Experience using power tools such as saws and drills.

• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
