Job Purpose: As a Hotel Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to hotel guests, offering information and recommendations about the hotel and local area, and assisting with guest requests and reservations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, providing a warm and friendly first impression.

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.

• Offer recommendations and advise guests about local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options, providing directions and maps where necessary.

• Make reservations for guests for various activities and events, such as tours, theater performances, and restaurants.

• Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner, resolving issues and escalating to management as necessary.

• Assist with arranging transportation for guests, including rental cars, taxis, and shuttle services.

• Maintain a clean and organised lobby area, ensuring that all hotel literature and brochures are stocked and up to date.

• Attend to any special requests from guests, such as arranging for a particular amenity or providing a unique experience.

• Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keep up to date with local events, attractions, and other news to provide guests with accurate and relevant information.



• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or tourism is a plus.

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to listen actively and engage with guests.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with a calm and professional demeanour.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options is preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
