Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Manager

 

Introduction:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Hotel Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of our hotel facilities, ensuring that they are in good working condition and meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for our guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the hotel, including preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for all equipment and systems

- Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure that they are skilled and knowledgeable in performing their duties

- Inspect hotel facilities and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs and make repairs as necessary

- Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work, including costs and timelines

- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs around guest needs and minimize disruptions to their stay

- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering new items as needed

- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality work is performed

- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, including fire safety, building codes, and OSHA standards

- Provide guidance and support to hotel staff on maintenance and safety issues

 

Qualifications:

 

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

- Experience in preventive maintenance programs and managing maintenance schedules

- Familiarity with safety and health regulations and building codes

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends
