HR Intern Job Description

 

Title: HR Intern

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an HR Intern to join our team and assist with various HR-related tasks. The HR Intern will work closely with our HR team to gain hands-on experience in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

- Assist with the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and setting up new employee files.

- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, such as coordinating events and activities.

- Assist with HR administration, such as maintaining employee files and updating HRIS records.

- Conduct research on HR-related topics and provide recommendations based on findings.

- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous HR internship experience.

- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices.

- Experience with HRIS systems.

- Familiarity with recruitment tools and technologies.

 

This is a paid internship and the hourly rate will be commensurate with experience.
