Job Title: HR Specialist

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for a range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and extending job offers

- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies and job boards

- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed

- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on a variety of topics, including diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and performance management

- Assist with the performance management process, including conducting performance evaluations and developing performance improvement plans

- Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and providing guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR, including EEO and affirmative action requirements

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation

- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred

- 3+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and employee relations

- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel

- Experience with HRIS and other HR tools is preferred
