Title: Instructional Designer


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Instructional Designer to join our education team. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing and designing engaging and effective instructional materials for students and teachers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and the ability to create materials that are accessible and inclusive.




     Develop and design instructional materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and activities, that align with educational standards and learning objectives.

     Collaborate with subject matter experts and teachers to ensure that instructional materials are accurate, relevant, and effective.

     Use instructional design principles to create materials that are engaging, accessible, and inclusive for diverse learners.

     Use educational technology tools to develop and deliver instructional materials, such as learning management systems, video conferencing tools, and interactive multimedia.

     Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and make revisions as necessary.

     Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance instructional design skills and stay current on trends and best practices in education.

     Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations.




     Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, education, or related field.

     Minimum of three years of experience in instructional design or related field.

     Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, theories, and best practices.

     Proficiency in educational technology tools and software, including learning management systems and multimedia creation tools.

     Ability to design materials that are engaging, accessible, and inclusive for diverse learners.

     Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

     Strong project management and organizational skills.


Preferred qualifications:


     Experience working in a K-12 school setting.

     Familiarity with educational standards and curriculum development.

     Knowledge of accessibility and universal design principles.

     Experience with graphic design and multimedia production.
