Job Title: Inventory Clerk
Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team and manage our inventory levels. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of our inventory.
Responsibilities:
● Receive and verify shipments of products and supplies
● Label and organize products and supplies in appropriate storage locations
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using inventory management software
● Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
● Collaborate with other departments to track inventory levels and forecast inventory needs
● Monitor inventory levels and place orders for new products and supplies as needed
● Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations related to inventory management and control
● Assist with the preparation and execution of physical inventory counts
● Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field
● Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and other stakeholders
● Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory records
● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
● Familiarity with inventory management best practices and procedures
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed to meet inventory demands
