Reports to: IT Manager

 

Job Purpose:

 

The IT Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including but not limited to hardware and software installations, technical support, and project management. They will also work closely with other departments to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Install, configure and maintain hardware and software systems.

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.

• Manage and maintain IT inventory, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.

• Work with vendors to purchase hardware and software.

• Assist in managing projects related to the implementation and/or upgrading of IT systems.

• Work with other departments to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.

• Provide training and support to end-users as required.

• Maintain documentation of IT systems and processes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT support and/or project management.

• Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, software, and computer peripherals.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and networking.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Project management experience is a plus.

 

Physical Requirements:

 

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

• Ability to work outside of normal business hours as required.
