Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, ensuring food quality and safety, maintaining inventory, and developing menu items. The Kitchen Manager will work closely with other department managers to achieve business objectives and exceed guest expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling

• Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation

• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

• Develop and update menu items based on seasonal availability and customer feedback

• Enforce food safety and sanitation regulations

• Work with other managers to achieve business goals

• Create and maintain a positive work environment

• Oversee kitchen maintenance and cleanliness

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

• Knowledge of inventory management and ordering procedures

• Ability to manage a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
