Job Title: Landscaping Architect
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Landscaping Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and residential and commercial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other architects to develop project plans and designs that meet client needs and budget constraints.
• Use specialized software and equipment to create digital models of outdoor spaces and landscapes.
• Design and plan outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and residential and commercial landscapes, taking into consideration factors such as environmental impact, accessibility, and safety.
• Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for the construction of outdoor spaces.
• Work with contractors and construction teams to oversee the implementation of landscape designs and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Develop project budgets and timelines and manage project resources.
• Conduct site evaluations and assessments to identify potential design challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in landscape architecture or related field.
• Strong knowledge of landscape architecture principles, techniques, and practices.
• Proficiency in using specialized software and equipment for landscape design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work in remote locations.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to conduct site evaluations and assessments in various weather conditions and terrain.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.
