Job Title: Laundry Attendant

 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team and ensure that our guests' linens and clothing are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

●     Sort, wash, dry, and fold guests' linens and clothing according to established procedures

●     Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines

●     Inspect items for stains or damage, and make necessary repairs or replacements

●     Ensure that all items are properly labelled and stored

●     Maintain inventory of linens and supplies, and order additional items as needed

●     Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure safe operation of equipment and chemicals

●     Keep laundry area clean and organized

●     Communicate with other staff members to ensure that guests' needs are met

●     Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

●     High school diploma or equivalent required

●     Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred

●     Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

●     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

●     Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals, as well as their proper maintenance and operation

●     Ability to follow instructions and work independently

●     Strong communication and interpersonal skills

●     Ability to lift and carry heavy loads, up to 50 pounds

●     Ability to stand for extended periods of time

●     Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
