Title: Lead Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team of educators. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering a comprehensive curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of students. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that aligns with educational standards and learning objectives.
● Plan and implement daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of students.
● Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students in learning, such as hands-on activities, games, and projects.
● Use assessment tools to monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
● Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and areas for growth.
● Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a sense of community and encourages students to explore, learn, and grow.
● Supervise and provide guidance to assistant teachers and support staff.
● Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on trends and best practices in education.
● Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
● Valid state teaching certification.
● Minimum of two years of experience teaching or related field.
● Strong knowledge of child development theories, principles, and best practices.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
● Leadership skills to supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff.
● Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum development.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Master's degree in Education or related field.
● Familiarity with educational technology tools and their integration into the classroom.
● Proficiency in a second language.
