Title: Lead Teacher

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team of educators. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering a comprehensive curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of students. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Develop and deliver a comprehensive and engaging curriculum that aligns with educational standards and learning objectives.

     Plan and implement daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of students.

     Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students in learning, such as hands-on activities, games, and projects.

     Use assessment tools to monitor and evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed.

     Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and areas for growth.

     Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a sense of community and encourages students to explore, learn, and grow.

     Supervise and provide guidance to assistant teachers and support staff.

     Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on trends and best practices in education.

     Adhere to school policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

Requirements:

 

     Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

     Valid state teaching certification.

     Minimum of two years of experience teaching or related field.

     Strong knowledge of child development theories, principles, and best practices.

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     Ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

     Leadership skills to supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff.

     Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum development.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

     Master's degree in Education or related field.

     Familiarity with educational technology tools and their integration into the classroom.

     Proficiency in a second language.
