Job Overview:

 

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for showing and leasing apartments, responding to inquiries from prospective residents, and conducting move-ins/move-outs. The Leasing Agent will also be responsible for the management of lease agreements, and ensuring that tenants are complying with their lease agreements. The successful candidate should be a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.

 

Responsibilities:

 

     Greet prospective residents and provide them with tours of available units

     Respond to inquiries from prospective residents and provide them with accurate and detailed information regarding lease agreements, amenities, and community policies

     Process rental applications and conduct background and credit checks on prospective residents

     Manage lease agreements and ensure that tenants are complying with their lease agreements

     Coordinate move-ins and move-outs, including conducting apartment inspections and completing necessary documentation

     Handle resident concerns and complaints, and work to resolve issues in a timely manner

     Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activity

     Attend company training sessions and stay up-to-date with changes to policies and procedures

     Assist in developing marketing plans and strategies to promote the property

     Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

     High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

     1-2 years of experience in property management or leasing preferred

     Excellent communication and customer service skills

     Strong organizational and time-management skills

     Ability to work independently and as part of a team

     Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

     Ability to work weekends and some evenings

     Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

 

Physical Requirements:

 

     Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

     Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
