Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for providing excellent customer service, generating leasing leads, and closing leases to meet and exceed the property's occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome prospective residents and provide tours of the property.
• Answer inquiries about the property and leasing process.
• Assist prospective residents with the leasing process, including completing lease applications and ensuring all required documents are submitted.
• Generate leasing leads through various marketing and outreach efforts.
• Follow up with prospective residents to answer questions and encourage lease signings.
• Conduct market surveys to stay current with rental rates and trends in the area.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and other team members to develop and implement leasing strategies.
• Ensure that all lease agreements are executed correctly and in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in resolving resident concerns or issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leasing activity.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of leasing or sales experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
