Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

 

Job Type: Full-time

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for assisting our attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including case management, drafting legal documents, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

 

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including case management, drafting legal documents, and trial preparation

- Conduct legal research using various resources, including online databases and legal publications

- Assist with discovery requests and responses, including reviewing and organizing documents

- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other court documents

- Maintain case files and documents in a timely and organized manner

- Coordinate and schedule depositions, meetings, and court appearances

- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists

- Prepare and review subpoenas and other legal documents

- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel as directed by the attorney

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal

- Excellent knowledge of federal and state court rules and procedures

- Strong research and writing skills

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research databases

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to type or operate a computer, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

 

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

 

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $XX,XXX - $XX,XXX per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
